A place to learn a new language, the Koehler Method of Dog Training, which is an entire language of communication between owner(s) and their dog. Let the journey begin.
I realize this negative space is too small. Today, we went to Ace Hardware about 20 minutes from the house (after I hosted Sean's birthday party at Crazy Paintball in the hot sticky heat for 3 hours!) and had them make the space longer, to fit the double place space.
Why are you dragging her around? Start in a Sit, command, "Heel", and then do a Right Turn, another Right Turn and an AS. THEN, send her to Place.
When done, command "Heel" and heel her to the camera. Then, do an AS, command "Sit/Stay" and step off on your right foot as you turn off the camera.
You are missing enormous training opportunities as every time she is on a leash, she is 'working'. So use the exercise you are planning on doing to film, getting to that exercise and leaving that exercise as ALL training moments. She is on a leash, she is 'working'. ALWAYS. You are inadvertently training her to ignore the leash, and you, by failing to work her with what you already know how to do as part of the filmed exercise.
