A place to learn a new language, the Koehler Method of Dog Training, which is an entire language of communication between owner(s) and their dog. Let the journey begin.
1) Step off confidently when leaving a dog on a Stay 2) Use your left knee, when she is on her Front Place Board, to 'bump' her right shoulder until you get a nice Tuck Sit. Bending over to constantly reposition her is YOU taking HER responsibility and will hurt you even more. 3) This is a formal Recall, not the puppy Informal Recall, so you stand up tall and straight. Do not bend when calling her. 4) Give her a yank when you command, "Sofie, Come" and reel her in like a fish as you remain tall and straight. 5) Use the upward leash pressure (feed between her ears) after you've commanded, "Sit" and use your legs (not your feet) as the 'energy boundary' to get her into a SSIF.
Ok, great start. Pointers
