You are making BIG movements with the LL. Better to simply turn and move away from the dog and let the leverage of the Safety Loop do the work for you. Those BIG movements are flagging Sophie that YOU are the source of those corrections. Nope, don't want her to believe that at all. We want her to believe she earned those corrections for failing to pay attention. When you stop and look or make BIG movements, you flag the dog YOU are the source of the corrections. Instead, if she's being stupid with the LL, simply walk the line and stand there. That way the line is making the corrections and she attributes the correction to the line and NOT to you.
